Although a large majority of people own cell phones and cannot live without one, there are others who do not see the benefits of having one. The benefits of a cell phone are numerous but the main ones are the convenience, the technology and the entertainment that it gives its users.

Cell phones are a bridge to convenience. No one can argue the convenience of being able to reach your child immediately, or a child being able to reach his parent, in case of a sudden change of plans. Without a cell phone, we would not be able to contact others about an emergency immediately and those that do not know about the emergency might get hurt. You do not need to go to where that person is to talk to him or her. You can just pick up your cell phone and dial some numbers to talk directly to someone and pass the message to the person. Thanks also to a dictionary in the cell phone, you can also check up a word that you do not understand. If you are buying many items and cannot add up the cost, you can use the calculator and you can also check the time if you forgotten to wear a watch. Because of all these conveniences and many more, cell phones are a useful tool everywhere.

Another benefit of having a cell phone is the technology it has to offer. Different types of cell phone models have different technologies. The Bluetooth is one of the common technologies found in most of the cell phones. It enables us to transfer music, recordings, to other gadgets such as the cell phone and mp4 players within a few minutes or even seconds and it does not cost you a cent. Other type of technologies that is found in a cell phone is the Internet, lifeblog, real player, flash player. These technologies that I pointed out are technologies that we usually see and use on our computers. The cell phone is actually a wireless gadget so, rather than using these programmes such as flash player on the computer, we can actually use our cell phones. Hence, when they introduce new technologies, it actually benefits us a lot.

The benefit of having a cell phone is that there is entertainment in it. Games, music, camera and video functions can give us hours of fun and can keep us occupied. Besides the games in the cell phone, you can download others into your cell phone. Next, there is the mp3 that lets us store music and allow us to listen to them whenever we want to. Then, it has camera which allow you to take pictures of your happy moments. Entertainment is an important benefit as it will relieve us of our stress.

Due to the busy world we live in, it has become highly necessary for most of us to have our cell phones with us and to access the multiple functions within the phone. Without the phone, you need to go to where that person is to talk to him or her. The cell phone is actually a wireless gadget, a mini personal computer that we carry with us all the time. Can you imagine how bored you will be without the entertainment provided by your cell phone?
